Question of the Week

By Laura Moncur @ 5:00 am — Filed under:

When was the last time you enjoyed exercise?

What about it did you enjoy?

The Question of the Week is meant to be an Inner Workout for you. Find some time during the week and allow yourself to write the answers to the questions posted. You can write them on paper, on a word processor or here in the comments section. Whatever works for you as long as you do it.

Keep writing until you find out something about yourself that you didn’t know before. I’ve also heard that it works to keep writing until you cry, but that doesn’t really work for me. Whatever works for you. Just keep writing until it feels right.

Great question! I love working out – so I enjoy it all the time, but there are aspects that I don’t like. I don’t like running/jogging so I cheat sometimes and do the elliptical trainer. I love playing raquetball and lifting weights, so when I’m not feeling motivated to go the gym, I just do one of those two things instead.

I think the last time I enjoyed exercise was about two hours ago, I was running on the beach. I think what I enjoy most about running- or any exercise is the endorphins. It makes me feel unstoppable, it’s the best high anyone can get!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to exercise. I enjoy jogging and the treadmill. I don’t stop until I am soaked in sweat. What I like most about it “showing off”. I worked 3 years at jogging/running/treadmill and now I can do it effortlessly with a smile on my face.
