It looked extremly exotic at Payless, so i was dying to but some. It smelled heavenly but had a weird texture and made my hands kinda sticky. At first i just tasted like an orange peel, but the i started to swell couldnt breath and was rushed to the hospital. I was in intensive care for about a day.. My sister on the other hand tried it and loved it! She is recommending it to everyone. I told her to stay as far away as possible from me when she eats it from me. She doesnt.. overall its a great fruit! :)

There is more to “health” than what makes you fattest.

I like that!!! I recently watched a documentary with my husband, "Fat Sick and Nearly Dead". My husband has this habit. He likes to watch documentaries and then he takes stuff away from us. Not complaining now, but I kinda do when he says, "So I watch this documentary today" I watched him standing in front of our refidge with a trash can reading ingredient labels and tossing out most of our groceries. "Yep preservatives, artificial flavoring/coloring, cant pronounce, high fructose corn syrup." NOOOOOOOO!!! He left us with some local fruits and veggie. I'm a vegetarian so I was thankful and not at all surprised by what was left as "healthy foods" But some of my favorite unhealthy snacks where sitting in our trash can and there wasn't a thing that I could do about it. High fructose corn syrup has been said to be ok in moderation. Go to your grocery store and as your shopping your normal trip just read a few. You will learn that high fructose corn syrup is in most everything. So you pretty much lose the "moderation" very quickly. Back to the documentary, it was very informative and humorous. There was a lady that said, "Im not doing this to be skinny, Im doing it to be healthy" if only every person that "Dieted" thought that way. America would be a much "healthier" country!

I started taking Alli a couple weeks ago. Only took for one week (2 to 3 times a day). I immediately noticed tightening in my abdomen and it made me constipated. When I started to have lower back aches I stopped taking it. It has been a week and I am stilling having lower back pain. Very different than anything else I have had. Not sure if I should be checked out. No other symptoms. I felt like I had the urge to go to the bathroom but it has since gone away. Anyone else experience this?

Sounds delicious! I'm going to try this recipe but attempt to make it vegan. I've calculated that replacing the half and half with unsweetened chocolate almond milk, and replacing the natural peanut butter for PB2, will take almost 1,000 calories from the entire recipe or about 120 calories from each bar.

I smoked the entire time I trained for my first half-marathon. Finished in 2:18 which is not too shabby. I also lost 30 lbs during this time and it was easy because smoking suppressed my appetite. It did not affect my energy levels, as I ran 4-5 miles every weekday and did a longer run of 7-10 miles on the weekends. I quit after the half-marathon, but kept running, and started gaining weight. It sucks.

I bought a Hand of Buddha tree at Costco last Spring since it was different than all the other citrus trees I already had. It had two flowers on it, but by the time I got it home it only had one. It turned into a tiny purple claw---then an ugly green claw--and finally into a huge orange/yellow claw. It's so beautiful. Still looking for decent recipes to use it up--as I now have many flowers on the tree and many more tiny purple claws just beginning this year.

I made it like you said but added half a scoop of whey protein. The protein count is 11 vs. 15. The net carb count is 4.5 vs. 1. The calories are lower but 25 but the saturated fat is 4 vs. 3. Also, one cup is 8 oz vs the shake which is 11 oz.
I always prefer to make anything myself and this recipe is cheaper but I think I will stick to the pre-made shakes.

Im a 16 yr old girl, not really a heavy smoker, i smoke about maybe 2 to 3 sticks per day? Ive been doing it on and off since i was 14. (The main reason being exam stress). For me personally the smoking does help to supress my appetite but them moment i cant smoke, like when im at home or in school, i immediately start thinking of food. So yes i do smoke to prevent weight gain. And it helps... tried quitting a few times and my weight shot up. I excercise regularly and run about 8 miles twice a week and go to the gym, etc... it does help keep me in shape to a certain extent... but idk how to quit without gaining all the weight... so i just keep smoking. I am scared of the effects but i cant really help myself. Haha
