&lt;p&gt;I was JUST reading an article in the May 2009 issue of Runner&#039;s magazine about Kara Goucher, an Olympic and track star who set U.S. records and now runs marathons.  Part of the article talked about what&#039;s in her &quot;toolbox&quot;.  She owns an &quot;Alter-G Treadmill&quot;:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&quot;It&#039;s allows me to bump up my mileage but stay healthy.  I usually run five to 10 pounds below my actual weight...&quot; (page 71).&lt;/p&gt;
