The operative word in that announcement, in addition to the very few cities where they are doing this, is "select." Good for you if you are one of those lucky few. But after calling my 24-hour club in Sunnyvale and finding out that they are not going to be getting these, this announcement had the exact opposite effect on me -- it has motivated me to find a gym I'm more happy with.</p> <p>I do agree that such a means of tracking and recording workouts is long overdue, though. Too bad 24-Hour Fitness decided to do this in such a limited way.</p> Don’t get too excited.
