I have had 2 procedures done by a qualified lipodissole doctor. I did not feel the shots. The needle is very fine and very short. I did swell and I did get red. I have had 1 treatment on my flanks, they are already smaller, and 1 treatment on my abs (2 days ago) The difference in pain and problems is that you need to go to a qualified doctor. Otherwise, forget it.

Lipodissolve has been around in Europe for decades, and has been used quite effectively. Unfortunately, there are doctors in the U.S who have not been trained properly in administering Lipodissolve injections effectively. 20 injections in a single area can be extensive, and cause necrosis where it was administered. It will heal, but it should never have happened if given properly.

Just how many of these pictures have you seen? Just because one idiot doesn't know how to do the treatment doesn't mean anything. My patients are happy and number in the hundreds. They recommend friends and come back themselves. Almost all of the "bad press" comes from threatened Plastic surgeons who have a vested interest in their lipoSUCTION.

The FDA is seriously underfunded. As soon as LipoDissolve gets a bad name, these guys will start using something else to try to take our money. It's up to us to watch out and stay away from claims that are too good to be true.

One of the reporter's last comments was 'it's not regulated'. How can it not be regulated? How can no one know what is really in the drug? Where is the FDA?
