Deirdre,

My heart is broken! I didn't have a chance to visit Moab more than once this last summer and it was early in the season. I didn't know that we had lost that park to wildfire. I am so grateful that I was able to capture the beauty of that spot when it was alive and thriving.

Thanks for the news, even though it was sad.

Just discovered your blog and looking forward to watching this dvd---I'm in Moab and it has added significance in that much of the wetland your filmed burned in a wildfire this year---including the boardwalk. The area will recover but I want to show my boys what it once was.

Wow, Very nice video. Anything to take your mind off the task of exercising. My wife hates using the treadmill for that reason. I'll let her see it and if she wants it I will order it. By the way, I love your blog - good useful information.

Hi, Sorry, I deleted your email inadvertantly, I do want your new walking DVD, but give me a few days to buy. I am up to my ears and have been away from home for a few days. Maybe email the new info again. Sounds intriguing. I want to tell you that I love the DVD's they are awesome, I find I get lost along the trails and have been able to go longer on the treadmill with them! Thanks, Susan

Running and cycling cause so much vibration that the film is unuseable. There is a professional filming company that has made some biking videos. You can read about them here:

Starling Fitness » Bike-O-Vision DVDs

I have run on the treadmill with this Moab video and it works alright. It feels like I'm climbing a hill because visually I'm going so slow. I haven't tried this video with a stationary bike, but the foray to Kane Creek would probably break your suspension of disbelief. A bike would have fallen in that water. It's amazing I didn't. Every time I watch that video I'm amazed that I wasn't fishing myself out of the creek.

I am new to your website and absolutely love reading your articles. I am fasinated by the walking videos and as a fitness pro I am only too aware how boring the gym is. This is a great way to stimulate the mind whilst you work on the body. What with the advances in technology bringing LCD screen displays to the treadmill I can truly see this becoming the norm in most gyms. It will be so much better for your performance to watch this than any other show. Any chance you can do some running ones and maybe some cycling ones? :)
