Veggies and fruits are harder to get in someplace in the inner city. There has been stores Aldi and Save a Lot that try to relieve this. Healthy food is generally more expensive. Some foods have to be shipped in.

Low fat powdered milk “Don’t laugh it’s great in smoothies.” Quick oatmeal and old fashioned is cheap and good. Bagged apples are usually cheaper than bulk. Bananas are cheap and you can cut them in half and freeze them. Beans are cheap and can be made in to chili’s, soups, salads, meatless loafs, meatless burgers, and more. Off brand tomato and veggie soups are cheap and easy to make. Canned vegetables though sometimes high in salt is not unhealthy.

Vegetables, fruits and low fat cheeses can be expensive. Meats if they are lean can be expensive.

Smoothies 1/3 cup to 2/3 powdered milk 1 ¾ cup of water to 2 cups. Ice cubes.
You can add fruit, or sugar substitute and coco. Use the blender.
