Just somebody else jumping on the bandwagon. I'll save the nine bucks. The 87 pounds I've lost in the last year, along with the healthy cholesterol levels, blood pressure readings, etc. that I've achieve are enough motivation for me!

I can join weight watchers etools for 12 dollars a month it has to do more than just show my steps. I can do that on my own. I can join calorie king for $39 a year and some other programs for free.
I also do non step exercise which won’t come up in a step.
Now if it had a recipe calculator and an exercise calendar and chats with a personal trainer two times a week it might be worth 9 bucks a week or more, but since I am not battling anyone to lose or maintain.

I think the main value is the social aspect -- someone to compete with, to motivate you. I imagine we could build such a web app in about a day, whatcha reckon?
